Business Continuity Planning/Disaster Recovery Planning
APCS helps client key Operations and IT managers develop and test Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans. Our fundamental goal is the maintenance and recovery of critical business transactions in the event of a significant interruption.
Business Continuity Planning (BCP) identifies and documents the steps which are needed to ensure that the critical business activities can be maintained in the event that access to key facilities, resources and/or personnel is lost. In the first instance, these procedures may only require limited or no access to technology.
Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) is typically more IT focussed and provides roadmaps for returning the business to normal operations and often incorporates planning for a transitional "emergency operations state" that will enable your business to continue while your production facilities are being reinstated.
Many APCS clients have benefited significantly by establishing BC/DR plans, easily achieving appropriate regulatory compliance guidelines.
